Canadian IT Law Association Website (IT.CAN)

With over 350 members from across Canada, the Canadian IT Law Association has become the must join Association for any lawyer practicing IT Law in Canada. We offer substantive learning opportunities through our Annual Conferences and quarterly Roundtables, as well as invaluable networking opportunities both at our conferences and on-line as we prepare to launch the IT.CAN website Forum early in 2003. To help our members stay current in this rapidly changing area of the law, IT.CAN distributes a bi-monthly newsletter and we have a series of ad hoc committees on specific areas of interest to IT practitioners.

Advocis - Advice and Advocacy

Advocis is the brand name of The Financial Advisors Association of Canada. As a single organization, Advocis represents thousands of professional advisors from coast to coast. Advocis members advise their clients on the short- and long-term financial needs of individuals, families, and owners of small and medium-sized businesses. Our members provide financial services that are limited only by the needs of their clients. Those services include financial planning, estate planning, tax preparation, tax planning, and consultation on employee group benefits, pensions and retirement plans. What unites our members is the common activity of helping Canadians to realize their financial goals and protect what is at stake - the savings of Canadians and the financial security of their families and themselves.
