Mohammad (Mo) Ahmad
Mohammad is a Partner at Westmark Tax Group. He has over 17 years of experience providing expatriate tax services to corporate and individual clients. Prior to joining Westmark, Mohammad spent over 12 years with Big Four accounting firms in Toronto, London, UK and Vancouver. He has extensive advisory experience on tax issues relating to global mobility including employee incentive plans such as stock options, restricted shares and other executive incentive plans. Mohammad is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and received his law degree from the University of Toronto. He has an undergraduate diploma in managerial accounting from Wilfred Laurier University and an economics degree from the University of Western Ontario. He is the chair of the Pacific Regional Committee for the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) and is on the Vancouver Board of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur), an organization dedicated to promoting global entrepreneurship and the Tigra Foundation, a public foundation dedicated to the protection of cats and dogs. Mo is married with two kids. In his spare time he enjoys playing squash, cycling and spending time outdoors in his spectacular home province of British Columbia.
Liz is a senior manager in the Vancouver office of Westmark Tax. Liz has over 25 years of experience in international personal tax with in-depth knowledge of Canadian and US individual taxation. Her focus is providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients, including senior level executives, high net worth individuals and individuals with their own business. She has extensive experience in cross-border tax planning, global compensation planning, relocation and equalization policy design and implementation and development of creative tax planning strategies.
Liz worked for Ernst & Young for 17 years, starting her career in Glasgow, Scotland with subsequent assignments in London, England; Brussels, Belgium; Toronto, and Palo Alto, California before relocating to Calgary in 2002 to join Deloitte to lead the International Assignment Services practice. She then spent 4 years working at WL Dueck, where her focus was on high net worth clients.
Her interests include investing and the economy, personal development, skiing, hiking, yoga and working out.
Travis Call is a Senior Manager in the Provo, Utah office of Global Mobility Tax, LLP, a CPA firm providing strategy, consulting, and individual tax services to organizations that relocate employees on domestic and international assignments. His 10+ years of experience include U.S. tax compliance and consulting for globally mobile employees, tax policy planning, foreign country taxation, global payroll and compensation review, and the design, implementation and administration of international assignment programs.
Prior to joining Global Mobility Tax, Travis served clients in the global mobility space at Deloitte Tax, LLP in San Francisco and San Jose from 2003 through 2007.
Travis now works and lives in Utah enthusiastic about giving back to the community through volunteering with the World Trade Association of Utah, the Inter-mountain Relocation Council (2010-2015), and with parents and children at the Utah Japanese Language School.
Travis received both his Bachelors of Science and Masters degrees in Accounting with emphasis in Tax from Brigham Young University in 2003 along with his Bachelors of Arts in Japanese. Travis obtained his CPA license in California, is an active member of the AICPA and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Travis also serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of the World Trade Association of Utah and the Utah Japanese Language School.
