Corporate Taxprep Overview

This webinar is designed to provide an overview of Corporate Taxprep, including how to find the forms that you need, what the various cell flags indicate, how to print your returns as well as some of the many features available in Corporate Taxprep to help you prepare your returns more quickly and accurately.

 

This webinar will be of interest to preparers and reviewers that only use Corporate Taxprep once a year and would like a refresher, as well as anyone that is new to using Taxprep.

Corporate Tax Forms

This Webinar is designed for Corporate Taxprep users who are new to filing Canadian corporate tax returns or need a refresher on the forms and filing requirements. The Webinar will explain the concepts of General Index of Financial Information (GIFI) and T2 Bar Code return. We will also look at some of the special forms that are unique to corporate tax returns and when they are required.

Corporate EFILE

Corporations with more than $1 million in gross revenue will be required to electronically file their T2 returns for year ends after 2010. In addition, corporations with a permanent establishment in Québec will also be required to electronically file their CO-17 returns for year ends after May 31, 2010.

 

This seminar will introduce you to the procedures for electronically filing corporate returns including how to select and transmit your returns and how to generate reports to ensure that all returns have been filed in the appropriate format.

This webinar will cover existing features such as review marks, Xpress and comparatives as well as the new features for marking up diagnostics and tracking changes in reviewed data.

Import and Export with Corporate Taxprep

Do you re-key any tax return data from spreadsheets into Taxprep? If so, then you can save time by importing the data from spreadsheets directly into Taxprep. This webinar will show you how to use Xpress filters to easily identify the data that you wish to import or export and the steps involved in importing or exporting data. We will also cover how to use Import-Export to transfer data from one return to another such as T661 data in Corporate Taxprep).
