Senior Training Manager, Tax Compliance
Gerry has a long tenure in the tax compliance industry with Taxprep and Cantax in various
capacities. He enjoys getting out to see new and current customers when he can and spends
1/3 of his days on the road coordinating our training seminars. He is the ultimate road
warrior dog! With a true passion for servicing our customers through his high touch approach,
he genuinely does care about the learner experience. Gerry and our tax compliance team dedicate
themselves to executing on delivering great customer experiences every day.
Sr. Learning Consultant
Helene has recently joined the Wolters Kluwer Canada’s team of professional services as a learning consultant. She worked at major law and accounting firms for many years before specializing in learning for professionals. Initially acting as a technical learning specialist, she later developed her expertise in specific skills training, change management, project management and consulting, always in professional environments. One of her strong abilities is customer service; indeed, every customer is treated with care and Helene is committed to ensure that they are comfortable with the new products they acquire. She has a great sense of humor, and welcomes challenges of any size with open arms.
Senior Learning Consultant, Tax Compliance
Leigh has been one of our key Tax Compliance trainers for a number of years and enjoys getting out to talk tax with you. Since 1997 Leigh has been the owner/manager of her own Tax & Bookkeeping and Consulting Service in Winnipeg. She has been preparing income tax for over 20 years, has taught as a tax instructor and also consults to a range of business and government agencies.
Bilingual Learning Consultant, CCH Engagement
Caroline joined Wolters Kluwer in 2005, where she initially provided tax support for the Taxprep and Cantax product lines. Following a tour across
Canada for the latest tax updates and productivity tips for Cantax users in 2007, she was recruited as Implementation Specialist for CCH Engagement
and assistant for the Product Management team. Now an external consultant for Wolters Kluwer, Caroline is aiming to transition her passion for teaching
to the world of elite sports, where she has herself been evolving in the past few years. While assisting new and existing CCH Engagement and IntelliConnect clients, she is pursuing a Bachelors' degree in Kinesiology and will soon begin a Masters' degree in Sport Psychology. Her main strengths include her positivity and enthusiasm,
as well as her understanding of the change management challenges awaiting her clients. She prides herself in using a lot of creativity to always find
new ways to make learning easier. She will gladly share her World Champion determination with you to achieve your business goals!

Stephane is an energetic information technologist who has been with Wolters Kluwer Canada for five years. In his current role he leads the training and implementation efforts for our flagship document management product CCH Document. He is also includes in his portfolio, CCH iFirm, CCH Portal and Site Builder. Prior to this, Stephane worked as a Technical Support Specialist providing support to customers on a wide range of Wolters Kluwer products. Located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Stephane works with customers from all over Canada in both English and French. When he’s not at work, he enjoys playing video games, flying drones and travelling.

Michael (Mike), a former Partner at Warren Averett O'Sullivan Creel and now consultant to CPA firms - may very well be one of the original ChangeMongers!
Mike entered the business world working for international and regional CPA firms when pencil and paper were standard issue tools. Always interested in change,
Mike was an early adopter of technological innovations such as the personal computer, local area networking and mobile computing to enhance performance in
both his professional and personal endeavors. Now some thirty-five years later, Mike has vast experiences with the challenges and benefits that come from embracing
the rapidly changing business and personal world we encounter today. Mike has traveled both nationally and internationally assisting firms with adoption of new
technologies and change management and enjoys sharing his knowledge through speeches, webinars, and storytelling.
Shannon began her career in Customer Service at Wolters Kluwer in 2007. During her years in Customer Service, she was able to use her technical, project management and people skills to assist customers in National Firms and the Sales Team. She recently joined the Professional Services team as a Learning Consultant and will use her skills to help firms implement iFirm. She also helps create the on demand videos for various products. Shannon is also continuing her education at Athabasca University to obtain a Bachelor of Commerce. In her free time she likes to create and design clothes, design graphics and practice yoga.
Senior Learning Consultant, Tax Compliance, CCH Scan
Jenny's passion for Taxprep is apparent the moment you meet her at one of our local GTA seminars or
log into one of her webinars. She prides herself on helping you discover new tips about the software,
whether you're a new user or a seasoned veteran. She is at ease in any office environment, be it a large
national firm like PwC, where she obtained her CA designation and completed the CICA In-depth (many moons
ago) or a smaller office where she is requested to provide a local customized training session. She welcomes
you to join our next seminar or webinar! As she often says to our clients "you don't know, what you don't
know, until you attend training."
Tilly started with Wolters Kluwer Canada as an Internal Account Manager in 2013 and showcased her many talents in that capacity. Recently, Tilly obtained her Adult Education certification as part of expanding her desire to grow in the Learning & Development space. In 2015, she took on a very special role as the company’s first Learning Management Systems (LMS) Specialist where her responsibilities included coordinating the production, delivery and evaluation of customer facing learning and development solutions and services. In 2017, Tilly was promoted to Learning Consultant and is currently responsible for a diverse range of products in her training portfolio. She loves working closely with firms to build out and implement new streamlined processes to improve workflows. Tilly has been praised for her infectiously positive attitude and great work ethic from colleagues and customers that attended her training sessions. In her free time, Tilly loves the outdoors, playing with her pets and curling up with a good novel.
Manager, Professional Services
Michelle is passionate about her work as the Manager of Professional Services, supervising a team of customer-centric Learning Consultants. She is truly interested in helping customers learn and onboard successfully and mentors/coaches her team to deliver value-added, needs-focused training that engages the customer in the learning process. Michelle has a strong operational focus and is always eager to collaborate with people, whether as a Manager, Learning Consultant, Project Manager, Process Mentor, or Coach/Trainer. Her focus is always on building best practices that allow people to successfully optimize their processes and achieve their goals.
Isaac first joined Wolters Kluwer Canada in 2008 following the completion of his BA in accounting at University of Sherbrooke. As a tax support specialist, he provided exceptional support to Taxprep and Cantax clients and also quickly became a key resource to his colleagues. In addition to being fluently bilingual and passionate about tax compliance, he has worked in several different sectors and industries after temporarily leaving Wolters Kluwer Canada in 2014. He worked on international tax returns and other compliance requirements while working for a large telecommunications organization and also worked in the public sector on contract as a financial analyst. Now part of the professional services team as a learning consultant, Isaac now provides compliance training to customers for programs such as Taxprep and FP Solutions with the objective of increasing their efficiency and profits.
Tax Software Consultant
Maureen obtained her CA with Peat Marwick Mitchell (a predecessor of KPMG) and joined Taxprep (now part of Wolters Kluwer) in 1985. As one of the original Taxprep employees, Maureen has been involved with all aspects of the development and support of Taxprep, including acting as product manager on both Corporate Taxprep and Personal Taxprep. She completed the CICA In-depth tax course in 1991 and since 2002, she has been a Wolters Kluwer’s consultant on tax and compliance issues. Maureen researches and writes material for training and program documentation and presents seminars and webinars to accounting firms across Canada. When not busy with Taxprep, Maureen can be found at the curling rink, where, as a skip, she can indulge her inner control freak and scream commands at her teammates.

Senior Learning Consultant, Tax Compliance
Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in 2013, Kuntal held various senior tax roles at companies such as Spin Master Toys, Clorox Company, Brookfield Properties, Intrawest Group to name a few. With over 13 years of experience in both public and private sectors, Kuntal has a strong proficiency in Canadian tax compliance as well as global tax issues, transfer pricing and cross border transactions. As a CPA and having completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course I & II, she brings a wealth of accounting knowledge and acumen to our team. In her current role as a Senior Learning Consultant, she assists in on-boarding and training clients on CCH iFirm, our new cloud-based practice management software. In her spare time, Kuntal enjoys cooking, reading, staying active and loves to travel. Her commitment to travel to at least one new place each year has taken Kuntal to over 150 cities in 28 countries in the world!
Michael has a lifetime's experience as a service representative and presenter. His early days were spent in the administration of tax and mutual fund brokerage offices, and nights as a performing musician in and around Toronto. He has worked in a variety of industries, including outdoor products, big-rig repair software and even university enrollment. Working with people and helping with the understanding of information, along with exposure to graphics and audio/video production led to training and e-learning production before starting with Wolters Kluwer in January 2016. He believes that everything can be a good story if told well. Michael's spare time is filled with music and outdoor pursuits such as walking, hiking, running, swimming and even water skiing.
